Alvaro Simons (Lima-Peru, 1991) studied visual arts at the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú in 2014.

He has participated in the Art Residence of Mana Contemporary and Fugaz in Mana Contemporary Miami, and exhibitions such as Space Between (2019), Feria de Arte Contemporáneo P.Ar.C ‘18, Perú, Nuevo Sistema de Iluminación, Tokio Galería (2018), Solo Exhibition Palabra/Material in Salón Espacio(2016), Pavimentos/Sedimentos, Peru (2015); Il Senso Del Corpo, FISAD 2015 at Academia Albertina, Turin, Italy (2015), I Colectiva de Jóvenes Artistas at CC El Olivar, Lima, Peru (2011); among others. He has been awarded with Premio De La Crítica for his graduate project “Palabra/Material” along with the prize Premio Winternitz for sculpture in 2014, 2013 and 2011.
